Helen Prest grieves the loss of Herbert Wigwe and Abimbola Ogunbanjo, while fondly recalling her late partner, Tosin Ajayi

Former beauty queen Helen Prest has offered her heartfelt condolences to the families of the late CEO of Access Holdings Plc, Herbert Wigwe, and the late former group chairman of Nigerian Exchange Group, Abimbola Ogunbanjo.

Tragically, Mr. Wigwe, along with his wife Chizoba, their first son Chizi, and Mr. Ogunbanjo, lost their lives in a helicopter crash in the United States on February 9.

In an emotional Instagram post on Sunday, Prest also took a moment to remember her late partner, Dr. Tosin Ajayi, and prayed for strength for the grieving Wigwe and Ogunbanjo families.

The former Miss Nigeria expressed, “Four years still feels like only yesterday. My beloved husband Dr. Tosin Ajayi…forever in our hearts.

“The profound depths of sadness can only be understood by those who have experienced the loss of a loved one. My heart goes out to the Wigwe and Ogunbanjo families, who are currently enduring such tribulations.

Prest’s partner, Ajayi, was the founder and managing director of First Foundation Medical Centre, Lagos, until his passing at St. Nicholas Hospital, Lagos, on April 26, 2020.
