Actress Joke Silva shared insights into her husband, legendary actor Olu Jacobs, stating that although he may appear frail, he remains strong. The 62-year-old actress made these comments while speaking to YEPS on the red carpet during the premiere of Toyin Abraham’s film “Malaika.” She also discussed the experience of portraying a married couple on screen.

Joke emphasized the advantage of their real-life familiarity, highlighting that when playing on-screen spouses, they adhere to the script’s written roles rather than incorporating their personal dynamics as a couple. She stated, “The good thing is that we are familiar with each other, so that is good. Then we play the husband and wife that the script has written. We don’t bring our own husband and wife there. We play the truth of the script that we have been given.”
