The Kano State Government has announced its provision of complimentary meals to pilgrims from the state currently undertaking the 2024 Hajj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia. Shuaibu Ibrahim, the Head of the Media Team for Kano State pilgrims and spokesperson for the Deputy Governor, revealed this initiative, emphasizing its aim to ensure the pilgrims’ well-being and comfort during their sacred journey.

Irrespective of background or socio-economic status, all Kano State pilgrims are treated to two nutritious and delectable meals daily, meticulously prepared by experienced chefs and served in a hygienic environment.

In addition to this generous provision, the Kano State Government has dispatched a team of medical professionals to Saudi Arabia, stationed at the Kano State pilgrims’ camp in Mecca. This medical team, comprising doctors, nurses, and other healthcare experts, stands ready to offer round-the-clock medical assistance to pilgrims.
