The Lagos State Government has taken legal action against Big Brother Naija reality star Tacha Akide, accusing her of disorderly behavior and turning the Murtala Muhammed International Airport into a public nuisance.
Tacha, 28, appeared before a magistrate’s court in the Ogba area of Lagos on Friday, facing charges related to an incident in May 2021.
The government alleges that she created chaos during her encounter with health officials and led other passengers to resist the officials at the airport, violating public health and criminal laws.
After the prosecution’s case, Tacha’s legal team filed a no-case submission, which was dismissed by the magistrate.
The court has directed her to enter her defense, with judgment expected on March 14.
