Ogun Commissioner celebrates women’s contributions to nation-building on International Women’s Day

The Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Adijat Adeleye, has commended the resilience and invaluable contributions of women in shaping a better society.

Despite numerous challenges, Adeleye highlighted how women continue to embody grace, strength, and confidence, driving progress and prosperity in Nigeria.

In a statement issued on Saturday to mark International Women’s Day, the commissioner emphasized the need for greater support for women, noting that nations that empower women experience remarkable growth and development.
