The chairman of PDP in Lagos has been abducted, and the kidnappers are demanding a ransom of N200 million

Philip Aivoji, the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State, has been abducted. According to reports, Aivoji was kidnapped on Thursday, January 25, 2024, in the Ogere area along the Lagos/Ibadan Expressway.

The incident occurred as Aivoji was returning from the PDP South-West Zonal meeting held in Ibadan on Thursday. Unfortunately, he fell victim to the abductors during his journey.

The kidnappers have communicated their demand for a N200 million ransom.

Additionally, another member of the Lagos State PDP Executive Committee, who managed to escape the abduction, is currently receiving medical treatment at an undisclosed hospital.
