A tragic incident unfolded today at the Tipper Garage junction near Shafa filling station in Dutse, Abuja, when a trailer lost control and collided with several cars on the expressway.
According to eyewitnesses, there were no immediate fatalities, but some individuals sustained injuries. However, another witness reported a different account, stating that the trailer driver died instantly, and a man driving a black car succumbed to his injuries while being rushed to the hospital. Additionally, a motorcycle rider was seriously injured in the accident.
Residents in the area lamented that trailer accidents are a recurring issue at this particular junction. Some neighbors mentioned that such incidents occur almost monthly.
