The General Overseer and senior pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre Paul Enenche\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>and his wife Becky on Wednesday visited the scene of the collapsed church building in Makurdi, Benue State capital.<\/p>\n

The duo inspected the collapsed building located on Mission Ward, North Bank, and prayed with the congregation who gathered to welcome them.<\/p>\n

The church collapsed at about 2 a.m. on Tuesday when five pastors were carrying out midnight prayers. One of them died in the accident.<\/p>\n

Enenche told journalists after prayers that the church does not fail to do the right things including while constructing buildings.<\/p>\n

He said God should be praised for the miracle because the same church which was filled to capacity on Sunday for seven hours for prayers and worship collapsed only when five persons were gathered.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a ministry, we employ due diligence in our buildings and this we have done in several things.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe believe that going forward, we will look into more details, the procedures and everything including technical details, and we trust God this will be forestalled in the future,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Enenche described the late pastor as a dedicated servant of God who served God all his life, adding that he would be missed by not only his immediate family, the church, but the entire state.<\/p>\n

He said that God had the answers for everything and that with time he would reveal the reason for the collapse.<\/p>\n

Enenche prayed God to grant the bereaved family, the branch and the entire Dunamis International Gospel Church the fortitude to bear the loss.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
