Agbonayinma, who had been actively considering running for governor, announced his decision to step back from the race during a gathering with his supporters and party members in Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area.<\/p>\n

He expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support he received when he initially expressed interest in the race, but shared the heartbreaking news of his son’s passing and his family’s grief.<\/p>\n

In light of this tragedy, Agbonayinma stated that he is not emotionally ready to continue with his political campaign at this time. He emphasized the need for his family to have space to grieve and heal.<\/p>\n
