Lagos State Government has shared images of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s meeting with Grenadian Prime Minister Dickon Michelle in Grenada, responding to reports alleging that the governor had abandoned his duties to attend a party.
Governor Sanwo-Olu returned to Nigeria on Wednesday after spending days in the Caribbean island of Grenada to celebrate the 50th birthday of Abuja-based businesswoman and socialite, Aisha Achimugu, as reported by Premium Times. Achimugu, who lost her husband to Coronavirus in 2020, reportedly changed outfits over 30 times, each dress costing thousands of dollars.

Contrary to claims that Sanwo-Olu had been partying in Grenada, the Lagos State Government released photos showing the governor presenting a miniature of the Blue Line train to Prime Minister Michelle. The government stated that the two leaders engaged in talks on bilateral relations, discussing tourism, agriculture, and other economic interests.
