Prominent showbiz promoter Teebillz, who is the ex-husband of singer Tiwa Savage, has issued a stern warning to Afrobeat artist Davido, accusing him of displaying disrespect. Teebillz conveyed this message through an Instagram post on Monday, where he also alleged that Davido had been disrespectful towards his family.
In his post, Teebillz asserted that protecting one’s family goes beyond mere duty; it reflects a man’s character and serves as a testament to his love and commitment. Teebillz claimed that despite the love shown by Tiwa Savage and their son Jamil towards Davido’s daughter Imade, Davido continued to disregard his family.
Expressing his frustration, Teebillz wrote: “Protecting one’s family is not just a duty; it’s the essence of a man’s character, a testament to his love and commitment… After the love Jamil, ‘The Mother of my Son,’ and I have shown towards your Daughter… My Family is the last one you will ever disrespect in Nigeria.”
Teebillz emphasized that his message is not an idle threat and stated, “I’m not Uncle Dele, Amaju & Co…. I will teach you a lesson on their behalf also.” He highlighted that despite providing numerous chances, Davido continued to show disrespect, and now it was time for him to learn a life lesson about the importance of money, sense, and respect.
Teebillz concluded by mentioning Davido’s upcoming Grammy experience and suggested that he would pause his actions until after Davido enjoys his Grammy, concluding with a reference to a previous conversation with Tunde Ednut.
It’s worth noting that on Saturday, it was observed that Tiwa Savage and Davido had unfollowed each other on Instagram. The relationship between Tiwa Savage, Davido’s baby mama Sophia Momodu, and their children has been characterized by a close friendship.
